As a business owner, author, mental health professional, autism advocate, and mother of a child with autism, Carlaura Flie has navigated significant personal and professional challenges, including vision loss caused by keratoconus and multiple corrective surgeries that impacted her daily life and educational journey.

Rather than allowing those experiences to limit her purpose, she used them as motivation to create Dream Big Inspire Big — an organization dedicated to empowering children, families, and communities through literacy, social-emotional learning, advocacy, emotional wellness, and inspirational programming.

Her lived experiences as both a parent and advocate provide a unique perspective that allows her to connect authentically with families navigating adversity, disability, emotional challenges, developmental differences, and personal growth.
